How Can a Wireless Reversing Camera System Benefit You?

It is no secret that having a reversing camera can be a huge help when manoeuvring your vehicle, especially if you're driving a caravan or a truck. But did you know that a wireless camera system can prove to be even more useful? Yup, you heard it right. Phones and computers are not the only ones that are going wireless these days. Even a reversing camera rear view system can go wireless. So if you're planning to purchase electronic devices to help you avoid backing into objects or pedestrians when putting your vehicle on reverse, a wireless camera is something you should consider.

The wireless reversing camera is suitable for all types of vehicles. Whether you have a 12v car or a 24v truck, you can bet that you'll be able to use the device without a power converter. And because you don't have to connect a video cable between the monitor and the camera, installation of the camera system is a quick and hassle-free affair. You don't have to possess great mechanical skills to set up it up. In fact, as long as you have decent DIY skills, you can install the camera system without requiring professional assistance.

But if you think that the lack of wires can affect the quality of the images being captured by the reversing camera rear view, think again. The camera system has a built-in 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver. In addition, both the monitor and camera have stronger antennas for better wireless transmission to ensure better image quality and no interference in digital signal.

There is also a new model wireless monitor that we have, it now comes with external antenna port to connect to a stronger antenna, which is an improvement in technology that we have made by listening to our customers so now, wireless transmission between the camera and monitor is more stable and reliable.

Aside from its excellent wireless transmission capabilities, what sets the wireless reversing camera system apart from other similar products is its capability to show four different camera angles at the same time. The camera system's monitors can receive wireless transmission from up to four cameras. In addition, it has quad screen function that allows you to view four different images simultaneously, thus, giving you better vantage point.

Because of these capabilities, this reversing camera system is a huge help not just for ordinary car owners. It can also be useful for those who operate forklifts, harvesters, trucks, and other industrial vehicles. If you're a business owner, this device is indeed worth your time and money as it can help make your vehicles more efficient and productive.

With such a reversing camera rear kit, you can make each trip a much safer experience. You can avoid unnecessary expenses, too. So if you're looking for a great add-on for your vehicle, a wireless camera system is definitely a worthy investment to make.

US Study Shows Reversing Camera Helps Reduce Driveway Accidents by 90%

Did you know that a reversing camera can help reduce driveway accidents by up to 90%? Yup, you heard it right. A latest research conducted by a respected American insurance and auto safety institute has found that cameras are the most effective technology when it comes to preventing collisions when a driver is reversing. As such, if you want to provide added safety for your vehicle, as well as for your family, particularly your small children, investing in this piece of equipment is something you should consider.

Just recently, the US-based Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, or IIHS, conducted a series of tests involving 111 volunteer drivers and a parking lot that had a pole market with different coloured bands to indicate varying heights of children. With the poles located as far away as nine metres, they could not be easily seen by the drivers using glances and mirrors alone. When the drivers started using reverse camera, the institute's chief research officer, David Zuby, said it significantly helped in reducing the rate of collision.

This has led the researchers to conclude that a reversing camera is key in reducing blind spots in vehicles that lead to road accidents and driveway incidents by up to 90%. "Right now cameras appear to be the most promising technology for addressing this particularly tragic type of crash, which frequently claims the lives of young children in the driveways of their own homes," Zuby said in a statement.

As you may know, having a small child in your house can make reversing your vehicle out of the driveway more complicated and dangerous. It could be even more difficult if you have tall vehicles like 4WDs and SUVs because you cannot easily determine if one of your children might be behind your car. As such, to avoid any untoward situation, it is best that you purchase a reverse camera.

With this timely US research underscoring the importance of installing a reversing camera in your vehicle, you shouldn't think twice about investing your money in such a device. Not only can it help ensure the safety of your children (and yours, as well), it can also prevent you from incurring unnecessary car repair expenses.

Today, there are many rear view camera systems you can choose from. There are designed for industrial vehicles, trucks, and buses, as well as those for ordinary sedans. There are also those built for campers and caravans, like the caravan 2 reverse camera system. But no matter which type of vehicle you own, be sure to equip it with a good reversing camera to make the process of reversing your car out of your driveway a much safer experience.
